The buzzing inside my head

For some reason....a.k.a. we usually leave the windows open...there are flies seemingly everywhere in this house. I encounter many of them on a daily basis and have taken to the sport of killing them whenever possible. I am tracking my kills at ten right now and expect to increase that number on weekends and whenever those bitch ass flies are trying to poop on my food in the kitchen. Here are some facts you didn't know about flies:

Im trying to kill one as i type this,

Let's Get Chit Poppin'

School, college more specifically, is not simply about attending class- taking exams, and graduating as to ensure a bright future. And thankfully so. If it’s not paying bills- it’s getting groceries. And when the necessities are taken care of- it’s getting along with roommates, meeting people to replace those you don’t care for anymore- oh, and buying speakers that thump harder than Sarah Brown’s heart when 3OH!3 takes the stage.

Life as we are experiencing it now is completely unlike anything we have seen before. And when I say we, I mean those of us that now live together in what we fondly call “the sweetest house in Eugene.” There are five of us living here on 19th and Agate: Carter, Joe, Jake, Jake, and Russell. Out of the family house, and out of the dorms- this is ultimately the first year of total freedom we have ever had. And with that being said- there is so much change taking place everyday. This blog is to document that change. It’s important to note that change is not quantified by “what I learned today is…” What we post on here is going to be along the lines of what we are listening to- what jokes we are cracking- the parties we are throwing- and in some cases lack there of. This doesn’t mean however, that from time to time an embarrassing picture of Abby Zimmerman won’t shamelessly show up. Our intentions are to blog our whole experience here on 19th and Agate- If you don’t care, then don’t read. But for us, it’s going to be fun to have a record of the whole bit. Just so by the time we are embittered graduates who can’t find jobs and had to move back in with Mom and Dad, at least we’ll have some memories we can always look back at.

Cheers, Jake
